Everything went great! Haylee did amazing. We are already home. She really did fabulous. The doctor said that Haylee has two ureters on her right side. He reattached both of them and they should both function. He said this is fairly common and a good thing. They told me the surgery would take two hours so I was happy and relieved when they came and got me after 1 1/2 hours. They let me be with her as she woke up. She was admitted to the hospital overnight and slept really well last night (amazing considering we shared our room with two newborn babies....) She woke up at 4 am starving. She's been eating and peeing all day. Haylee was really cute with the nurses when they were removing her IV. She kept saying thank you. It hurt her a little so she was crying and saying thank you at the same time. She was obviously very excited to get out of the hospital.
I really felt like everything would be okay with Haylee's surgery - and it was. Thank you for all the prayers! They were felt!
