Prior to our trip to Texas, the girls and I studied BATS!! Texas has some of the largest, most populated bat caves in North America. Haylee will study bats in 1st grade so we thought it would be fun to see them up close. WOW! We did! I would HIGHLY recommend the Bracken Bat Cave to anyone with an interest in learning more about bats. The Mexican free tail bats come to this cave in June/July to have their babies and then move South at the end of the summer. Their nightly feedings are AMAZING.
Two massive groups left the bat cave - one around 7:45 and the other around 8:20.

Thanks for doing the research on Bracken - we'll definitely go back again.
