Finally! Pictures from Sydney's birthday party! The theme for Sydney's birthday was cooking. So, we made little apron invitations and invited 14 of Sydney's closest friends. Sydney was so proud of the invitations - she carried them around the house for days before we mailed them.
When the guests arrived they were given an apron and told they were now lil' chefs. Their first duty as a chef was to cut out sugar cookies. Next, they helped add ingredients to the ice cream machine so we could make homemade ice cream. Then we moved to the backyard where they played on the bouncy house and made pizzas.
Once the pizzas were made, the moms helped cook them while the lil' chefs went in the front yard for relay games with Autumn.
After the relays, it was time to eat! Then Sydney blew out the candles on her cake and opened presents. What a fun day! Good thing we don't have to do it again for another year!
